Idea

Idea

The idea was to create a simple game with some basic mechanics and easy to code functions. The player needs to find the random spawned "Lost Barrel" on a small stylized map.

Assets

The Main Components of the Level were the Barrel, the stones and foliage like the palms and the grass.

Barrel

The barrel was the main asset the player needs to find. It was modeled in Autodesk Maya and zBrush and textured in Adobe 3D Painter.

Stones

The were to different types of stones in different scales and sizes. They were made in zBrush and Adobe 3D Painter.

Grass

One of the foliage components was grass. It was placed in small water pits. Modeled in Autodesk Maya and applied a Unreal Engine Material with an UV-Offset.

The palm trees were placed all over the level. Made with Autodesk Maya and textured in Adobe 3D Painter.

Details

To make the user experience better, I've implemented some small Details.

Puffs

To polish the walk animation a bit, I've created a small "puff" particle when the player hits the ground.

Fleeing Snake

There are some snakes on the map, wich will flee when the player comes to close.

GUI

Some basic buttons wich look like a pergament piece.

A small tipp for the player to collect the barrel with the "E" key.
